Welcome to our Jubilee celebration. In our 7th year, the year of Jubilee, we are taking this time to rest, reflect and provide ourselves with RESPITE CARE.
Exceptional Care: Primarily awarded to three family caregivers who have assumed the role of primary caregiver of a family member. May also be awarded to non-family caregivers or non-professional caregivers who essentially volunteer their time for someone in need of care. These individuals sacrifice their personal and social lives to better the life of another. They emulate the spirit of Arcola “Miss Kitty” Thornton.
Caregiver Crown: Primarily awarded to exceptional family caregivers who have never received an MKC Caregiver Award and whose loved one has passed.
Caregiver Veteran: Primarily awarded to professional or volunteer individuals with 30 or more years dedicated to the art of exceptional caregiving.
Caregiver Soul: Primarily awarded to individuals who volunteer their time outside of their regular job to assist ANYONE in need with their time and/or talents. Someone who demonstrates the spirit of Christ through service to others.
Caregiver Jewel: Awarded to career healthcare individuals who go above and beyond their normal tasks for the care of their patients.
Caregiver Champion: Awarded to businesses/organizations that have demonstrated long-term and consistent services or offered products for the benefit of caregivers.
